The crucifix is actually an up-right trick, and an inverted crucifix is the upside down verion but all of your body is on the same side as the pole! :D
Thanks! My studio calls that trick a crucifix, so that will probably be engrained in my head, but definitely good to know :)

lots of improvement on my gemini to scorpio transition, now I just have to work on the last trick (which I forget the name of right now)
kristywebb said: love your blog ! what brand of pole do you recommend ? xpole, pussy cat pole etc ? & did you do lessons, or do you just learn yourself ? :)
I recommend the X-Pole Professional; its what I use and what my studio has. I got interested in pole by starting classes, and only recently got my own at home.
Thanks for following! Happy Poling

Thought I would do a random search for pole dancing and you popped up! I have a pole in my room too and have been training properly for about 5 months. I don't go to a class - my Pole Exercise Dvd and YouTube are my guru's - so it's brilliant to find others who love it too. Amazing videos and pictures.. Will definitely keep visiting!... I will hopefully be posting a few up shortly!
Hi! Thanks so much for your enthusiasm; its always great to hear about other women out there who love pole as much as I do. DVD and YouTube are great ways to learn, but if you ever have any specific questions feel free to ask!
I’ll make sure to follow you through my regular tumblr, so I can see any progress that you post in the future :)

It's funny that out of all the things we do on a pole that are sooo hard, the handstands are what are really difficult. haha. Mine are pretty shakey and awful. Your's look good! Going upside down makes me so nervous. haha. :)
Haha I know I am especially nervous to do handstands with heels on, because the falls are much more intense and my feet are weighed funny. Luckily, I did gymnastics so I got used to doing handstands and going upside down at an early age.
I’m glad that there are other polers out there on tumblr. You should post some photos or videos!
Thank You to all my new followers and to those giving me feedback! I really appreciate all of it!
Your gemini/scorpio switch is looking really good. One thing I do notice is that you have such a hesitation. The momentum will stop you from sliding too much if you just trust that .5 second of transition!
Have you ever tried Gemini to Tami? That one is pretty cool too.
Keep it up! :)

I so need to get my own pole!
Thanks so much! I Just got my pole at home, I started with classes and still try to go to them whenever possible.
I have to say, its a whole new world with a pole at home. I definitely recommend it.

This one shows the scorpio/gemini transition that I have been working on without hands
Your pole work looks great! Love to see fellow polers tracking their progress : )

I’ve been pole dancing for about a year now, and I think right now my favorite trick is switching between scorpio and gemini :)
